Maharaji's History as Recorded by Maharaji's Minions

Back in the early 1980s Prem Rawat aka Maharaji aja Guru Maharaj Ji aka Lord of the Universe aka … decided he wanted people to forget his spectacular if absurd and laughable career, so far. So he gave a message to his number 1 minion that He, Guru Maharaj Ji, wanted all the magazines, books (not too many of them), audio tapes (remember them?) video tapes and newsletters and films and life size photos of Him, anything pertaining to Him looking silly be destroyed. The message was passed down the line though today no-one can remember who was near the top of the line. Naturally they obeyed because "We are not worthy to kiss Your lotus feet, Oh Lord!" "We are not worthy to remember to worship you every day, Oh Lord!"

2007 Prem Rawat (widely known as Maharaji) 2009 Prem Rawat (widely known as Maharaji) 2007 ADI magazine Prem Rawat (widely known as Maharaji) 2006 given the honorary title of Maharaji at the age of eight 2003 Prem Rawat is also known as Maharaji, an honorary title given to him in India where he began his work. Prem Rawat, known also by the honorary title Maharaji Prem Rawat, also known by the honorary title Maharaji, is a successful investor and receives no compensation for teaching the techniques of Knowledge.

Now followers of Guru Maharaj Ji back in 1983 weren't nearly as crazy as Scientologists. They destroyed their personal memorabilia but they didn't steal the books and magazines from Public Libraries and they didn't break into the home of former members to steal their stash and they didn't join the Department of Taxation to destroy His financial records but they burnt a lot of paper.

Nowadays, its so much easier. If prem Rawat wants people to forget or never know he was called Maharaji (because that would be a clue he once called Himself Guru Maharaj Ji and then that would be a clue that he once called Himself … ) all he has to do now is stop paying the hosting fees on any of the numerous websites that his devoted devotees pay for.

Former followers of Prem Rawat aren't as crazy as current followers of Prem Rawat or Scientologists but maybe one of them has kept some of His Masters Voice alive and it might even still be on the Internet today.
