In Retrospect - why Change

"… no body actually understood what the problems would be to take Knowledge around the world & when I started travelling & going to different countries, you could see, somehow Knowledge had to reach people, not their concepts, Knowledge had to reach people not their cultures, Knowledge had to reach people not their way of doing things. Therefore Knowledge had to be on a whole other level and the process started to get higher & higher"

The Videos

"I came up with the idea of what about using the videos … this wasn't something I sat down & looked at statistically, it was more an inner feeling. This is a wonderful medium. It hadn't been available before. I know if this medium was available to my father he would have probably used it a lot more than I am using it. There was this feeling that if this medium was available it should be exploited

… it has definitely taken that leap & the response to the videos has been tremendous. This is Maharaji's current message, 2 weeks later people are watching it already around the world. I am free to be creative. I can go where I want to go & know that people are in sync … but at least everywhere around the world it doesn't matter how remote the location, there are the videos, the audio tapes & it is just a wonderful progression

… since the videos started, propagation has really taken a completely different turn - in the remotest areas, hearing directly from me - no middle man. no interpretation, simple and easy for aspirants to watch videos … everything happens so that people can listen, people can at least hear about Knowledge. Knowledge is presented to them in a neutral context & they can make up their minds if they want to follow up or don't want to follow up … People can hear about it in a very simple way, Maharaji needs to be a very real person in a human being's life"

Why Participate

… so it has grown and the reason why it has grown is because there is the thirst and the people who made the effort & it was the people who were enchanted by this, who have been blessed in their lives with this experience and this feeling, they are the ones who are making this possible.

… for the first time this is happening around the world … its mushrooming on its own and people take the videos on their own and organise little meetings and invite people to watch & people are super excited about listening to this. Everywhere this message is taken, it touches peoples hearts

… you, you are alive and this is happening & it is very special because it has never ever happened on this scale & that is because of your efforts & if we continue to make that effort, get into it, the possibilities are absolutely amazing.

… so something very beautiful is taking shape & something very beautiful is emerging. Not only is it beautiful but it is happening on a very large scale & I know sitting in your country, you don't have the scope to see what is happening around the world & it is important, I feel, that you do, to know what is happening, because it is every person who has this Knowledge who appreciates this Knowledge, it is incumbent on them to support it. Whatever support propagation needs should come from only those people who truly admire it & therefore its admiration is honest, its support is honest, it is real, fresh, clean. It is how it should be, & in that spirit, the more people know about it the better it would be, for them and the activities.

… the desire, the want for the expression of love becomes natural, & it must be expressed. The adoration for that beauty in your heart it must be adored & when that adoration happens, it is perpetuated, it is increased. When you love - the love increases (it doesn't decrease)

… the joy of the student, the joy of the one who wants to invite people, so other people may hear about this gift of Knowledge, To help, to be in that place, to help the Master, the student finds joy in that, because it becomes that expression, so it has to be that even that, has to becomes that opportunity & that is the possibility that exists for everybody"

How it happens & how you can participate "The Knowledge has consistently been spreading and it was the help of everybody involved that makes the difference - there was no doubt about it. I remember when I first came to the States, there were very few people & each one of them (they did goofy things) & yet there was a fervour - night didn't matter, day didn't matter. time didn't matter & they would give it everything, & things started to happen, there was such thirst, there was such a feeling & it grew, there was a patience, things weren't easy, believe me when I came things weren't weren't easy (examples given) … but everybody had a fervour.

I have been doing what I have been doing for 30 years & I have been in the West for 25 years, & all around the world the propagation exists, no bill boards, no posters, just people talking to people, people coming, people listening, people being touched, & the process goes on. Like the mighty rivers, & you look at their source, the river starts drop by drop by drop, frail little streams - joining with another, with another, & pretty soon it becomes a thundering river.

The spreading of this Knowledge has to happen the same way. The sun is so powerful & strong but have you ever seen the transition between night & day? It just begins to dance & dance a little more & ever so gradually, ever so slowly here it comes, & it keeps coming & keeps getting brighter & brighter, then it breaks the horizon & the light has arrived. The transition is so simple, so gentle, so kind, so sweet, just gently & kindly the process unfolds and I want every person who has Knowledge to take that little responsibility, to say maybe I can tell somebody about this Knowledge, maybe I can help somebody else come to Maharaji to receive this Knowledge. Maybe I can make a little effort towards making it possible so that the propagation continues in the country. Maybe I can do something to help out.

That's how it is, everybody helps. It is that magic of people because they have understood something & everywhere in the world, that little dance happens. It happens in Hong Kong, it happens in Japan, it happens in America etc. etc. Everywhere that little dance is happening and everybody who is dancing is enjoying & lives are being transformed - no simple task. Peoples lives are changing around the world. People see that video and they say this is it, this is what I have been looking for. It only happens when the master & the student get together - let the magic unfold.

… whatever it is you can do - whether it is inviting your friends … how we are doing it from mouth to mouth, word of mouth. People all around the world are interested in making propagation happen in their area but it takes effort … It has to be word of mouth, it has to be spreading among those people who are interested.

This little song & dance has been sung & danced on the face of this earth many, many times. It has no name, it has no big organisation behind it. It is just people making the effort and celebrating that joy in their lives and that's it."
