This is a message that came through the european participation conference that I felt you would appreciate, as we all have.    with love, su

Participation

Participation is an incredible gift. This is my individual experience. It just feels a grateful heart needs to express itself. I see Maharaji offering me and each individual an amazing opportunity.

The participation opportunities appearing in this conference however tend to be those that will only engage about one percent of people with knowledge. And yet these are the ones that tend to get communicated and highlighted. My own perspective is that jobs in the organisation are almost a necessary evil. Someone needs to do them.

However the vast number of participation opportunities tend never to get articulated and have not been in this conference. And they are all heartfelt, simple and joyful.

I felt I wanted to redress this imbalance and express one of these opportunities in a role definition format, just to make the point.

When referring to participation opportunities last year I understand Maharaji said people could get involved in propagation (introducing people), they could get involved in supporting those who had been introduced and those who had received knowledge, they could participate financially and they could help out in events. Interestingly he never mentioned organisational roles.

A lot of people have commented recently that the job descriptions are too complicated, too corporate, too bureaucratic and somehow miss the point of the joy and simplicity of participation.

Any way I place this job description here in this conference to try to get the organisational roles that seem to be the only ones getting advertised into perspective.

Thanks, John

Approximately 25 people from Australia attended the recent Global Resources Meeting held in Phoenix, Arizona on 23, 24, 25 September. Total number of attendees from around the world were approx 675.

Sam and I made the stretch to be there (extremely glad we did) and I present the following for everyone's interest and information.

Maharaji conducted Question and Answer Sessions of almost 2 hours' duration on days 1 & 2. On both occasions, he spoke about many things including propagation in Australia. These were his main points:

> The Team needs to move forward and get Propagation onto a very solid foundation.

> Australia need not concern itself so much with helping other countries in the Pacific. There are good people and teams in all the countries. By 'helping' other countries we can end up helping nobody.

> For Aussies it's time to get busy with propagation. (It's always time).

> Bureaucracy can get in the way. Some organization may be necessary - but the focus has to be on enjoyment and simplicity.

> M emphasised that he has not been to Sydney, Melbourne or Perth for a long, long time. Asked how long this situation would continue.

> Expressed that there had not even been a Public Program in Brisbane. All the emphasis has tended to be on Amaroo. This also happened in Delhi (with the Knowledge Centre so nearby) but expressed that Propagation in Delhi was now in very high gear.

> He stressed that it's vital for Public Events to be well supported with Materials.

When asked if there was something not happening now that he would like to see happen, M answered that the single most important thing was synchronization. He said that without it, efforts made will not last.

If it is possible to get the video footage of these segments (at least) we will circulate asap.
