Major changes toGold Coast weekly Events

Hi, its D. B. here. I wanted to inform you of changes that will be made to the Gold Coast Events starting this Sunday 18th June.

An invitation was extended to everyone to attend special propagation meetings that were held prior to the Sunday afternoon Events, on Sunday 28th May and again on the 4th June.

At those meetings, the team looked at the current propagation efforts on the GC and any results that could be measured. We also looked at the viability of maintaining the regular venue at the Senior Citizens Centre at Broadbeach due to numerous factors that did not exist at the time the hall was first hired.

For example, it is now possible to get DVDs delivered to one's home, the Keys can be watched by individuals in their own home and one can now easily download Maharaji's most recent addresses from the internet and watch them entirely on one's computer or TV etc. The times they are a changin, so are hall-based Events the way of the future?

For some time there has not been a lot of guests attending the weekly hall Events and the number of attendees with Knowledge (and those involved in the Keys process), has also been in decline. The team looked at the viability of maintaining these Events given the physical and financial resources it requires. Is there a better way to utilise these resources that can grow propagation and delivers a better outcome?

It was decided to reduce the number of hall Events to just two per month. This could open the door for other propagation initiatives both individually and collectively and make better use of our time and financial resources.

The two monthly Events will consist of (one) Open Event (ideal Event to invite you guests) and (one) Event for people with Knowledge and those involved in the Keys process. This means there will be one Event every two weeks.

1st Thursday evening of each month

7pm - Fradgley Hall (above the Burleigh Heads Library)

Park Avenue (off Conner Street), Burleigh Heads.

Events for people with Knowledge and those involved in the Keys process

3rd Sunday of each month

2pm The Senior Citizens Centre

TE Peters Drive, Broadbeach

This Event is specifically for people with Knowledge and those involved in the Keys process (we need to find a shorter name for this group). They will be a new style of Event starting at 2pm with a special DVD of Maharaji speaking to people that have Knowledge and those involved in the Keys process.

There will then be a refreshment break for 15mins followed by an open forum discussion/presentations on what we want to do regarding propagation on the GC. This will go for approximately 1 hour. This will be the regular format until a better one is decided upon. You can of course be part of the decision making if you are in attendance.

The first of these will be held this Sunday 18th June starting at 2pm.

During the Open Forum time (this Sunday only), we also need to plan for the Open Event at Fradgley Hall and decide on an Event team so the first of our Open Events for guests and ourselves is a roaring success.

There is a general feeling that we want to take a step forward with Propagation on the Gold Coast. These changes were made, not as a way to relax and take a backward step but more as a way to clear the decks a little so we can look at propagation in a new and a fresh light and take a natural step forward.

Your support of these changes and you attendance and participation with these initiatives can certainly make a difference. We don't have the answers. We have just brought about a few changes that were felt to be necessary. What now unfolds will be the result of our collective and individual efforts. We can steer it any way we want.

I hope to see you on Sunday at 2pm. It promises to be a very special DVD and then there will be time for us to decide (together) on what can happen regarding growing propagation on the Gold Coast.
