Dear A. and P.,

Considerable excitement in community, re Burleigh event.

Responding to this the propagation team plans to further the advertising of the event to the public. This will happen on the morning of the event with a distribution of flyers through out the immediate Burleigh area.

L. D. will coordinate this and she is looking for young people to help. As there have been no young people on the Coast for SEVERAL DECADES now, she has invited B. S., and any friends he can muster to take part. He says he can, and has expressed interest in the relaxed format of the event being tried here. I told him we have been inspired by his and the other 'Yippies' efforts.

As this series of events is being so publicly promoted this time, we should consider too the eventuality of an approach to 'Entelechy- Gold Coast Inc' by the local press. As there areGold Coast PWK with experience in PR elsewhere, perhaps we can consider contacting them regarding filling this role locally. Whoever takes on this role would enjoy both the support of the management committee, and the help and advice of Brian Murray and the national PR team.

We need to also think about security for future public events for the same reason, ( the exes) and regarding security for this individual event I will talk to the propagation team at the Monday meeting.

One more role we also need to fill in the community is a 'Health and Safety' person; to cover our liability with the public, look after volunteers, and fulfil any conditions of the public liability policy pertaining to this.

Perhaps we can put these items, needing to be addressed, on the agenda of the 'General' meeting, September 5th.

J.

PS L. is not on FC so I will forward this on to her.

B. S. was the child of premie parents and one of the very few I knew of who were interested in Rawatism. The word 'yippies' does not refer to the anarchist-hippie group of the sixties but to the not so well known Young Peoples' Intitiative group of Rawat followers. This was basically an internet web site devoid of groovy young cool kids. Images of beautiful young people on Rawatism web-sites are of professional moodels.
