Re $375 as the amount being suggested as the next GC contribution - SB 14th May:

We are uncomfortable about trying to firmly commit to this amount of $375 as:
(1) Last time 12 people were from outside our "centre" and therefore we are unsure of their future attendance at the Gold Coast venue.
(2) Of the local people, 17 aspirants were in that total. We consider we cannot measure them as definite contributors.
(3) Our venue and taping costs are minimum $200 each time.

We would be more comfortable to aim for something we believe attainable and then agree to definitely forward any excess, which is what we did on the two occasions when a broadcast was played on the Gold Coast. (As you know, on the other occasions our numbers have been integrated into the attendances at Amaroo or Byron Bay.)

Would it be acceptable for us to commit firmly to $260 for 14th May, and as stated above, to forward any excess after the local costs have been deducted?
