Outcomes from Planning Day - 29th December

Hi Lee,

Hope everything is going more than well for you.

Things here on the Gold Coast are really, really nice at the moment. With the feedback from the meeting in Melbourne there is a very real sense of team co-operation and enthusiasm, and on top of that there has been an influx of a few dedicated PWK to the community who really want and need to plug in. Our last planning meeting was the biggest ever and we had much involvement in the pre-post planning project which was very beautiful and as always, the magic far supercedes the nerves and qualms about "can we do this?"

Responding to the request re 1997 and 1998 new PWK .

Of the four in 1997 only one, Heather G. is living and practising on the Coast.

Sarah V., you know is active O/S

Heather attends videos regularly, participates in the aspirant team, is the phone contact for aspirants when we need to communicate that way or send a message to get together, she also does seed hulling and propagation. (This is an Amaroo project supervised by D., and A. here on the Coast.)

Heather would attend an event and possibly we could contact Maree M. but she has not been involved for a long time.

I'll answer the 1998 in the format you supplied.

  1. 4
  2. 3 - L. plays a major part in the setup and running of the Tugun program which is ongoing on a weekly basis, attends the planning meetings and is available for catering support when we have refreshments after a program.
  3. S. has been program manager for Thursday nights event for a while but just had to withdraw because of ill health. Steve has also helped with sales and is fairly involved.
  4. H. does not actively participate locally but he was involved in beautification at Amaroo on a regular level. I have not seen him at a local event for over a month now.
  5. Y. has just returned, thanks to D.s outreach efforts and has been to 2 events this month and seems like she is enjoying. She has not reached the participation stage yet.
  6. All these 4 would attend an event with Maharaji.
  7. The other 2 on the 1998 list, J. and L. we have not seen since the KS.
  8. I remember it was disturbing for me at the time as I felt personally responsible.
  9. L. arrived at a program just a week before the K interviews saying she had prepared in Byron and Sydney. Her understanding was not apparent. Also with J., he wrote that he had been coming for 5 months which was insincere. He was very new. As contact I qualified his answer but somehow he received Knowledge anyway. This experience makes me feel that this is the major factor which causes people to drop away.

Also we live and learn. I feel strongly that the major contributing factor to developing strength and understanding in new PWK, apart from the factor of listening well to fulfill M's criteria for receiving Knowledge, is to work on a strong and supportive follow up for both those who receive K and those who wait. I feel very good about this area now as I have heard it is His wish to work on this particular area. Also you are looking after this area on a National level. Am very confident with your dedication, and P. is looking after it locally. Am very confident in his dedication too.

Co-operate … Operate together.

I keep remembering one small part of one of last years participation tapes.

"Real participation comes from inspiration from inside." Maharaji 1999

Please excuse my not so cool set-out as I'm still feeling my way with this machine.

Kind regards
M.
